Paul Granjon is known for his performances and exhibitions with hand-made machines. Travelling the world with silly robots, he investigates the co-evolution of humans and machines, trying to open dialogue and share experiences.
Ranging from sharpened stones to recent alarm calls regarding the advent of superintelligence, this talk will cover aspects of our relation to technological items and the impact of increasingly smart artefacts on humans and their environment. Granjon will explain how the observation of techno-scientific developments and their societal integration inform his artistic practice.
